15 Kerr St.  Jacksonville, NC.  Located on  the New River and home to the world famous 2d Marine Division.  The base is situated on large tracts of land on both sides of the river and adjacent to the intra-coastal waterway.  Since most of the base is dedicated to training area, the vast majority of the waterways are left in their natural state. The Bayonet Cruises features fine foods, beverages, and comfortably appointed staterooms. You can enjoy an early morning cup of coffee on the bridge, or out on the bow as the fog rolls out, or join other guests in the salon for friendly conversation or games.  Dancing in the cockpit in the beauty of the evening is a special treat.
